Fifth School Daze

Rolly awakened that bright Saturday morning by opening his eyes when his alarm clock chirped out to him. He sat up from his futon and streched his arms over his shoulders and yarned. The needles of sleep were still poking at his brain but today was a large day for Rolly and he was eager to be away from his bed and therefore awake. His mind made up, he lay back and rolled out from under his covers onto his hard Japanese Flooring. He stood up then and stretched in his pujamus.

He wanted to look his best for his meeting with Sugizio so he started the shower, running. He changed into his showering clothes and got in, taking care to wash extra well. His mother walked passed the bathroom and smacked the wall of it to let Rolly know that water was not free and that had been quite long enough of a shower by now. He turned the water off and removed himself from the shower and began to do what people do when they get out of the shower. He dried off and brushed his teeth and felt his wet hair. He opened the door to the bathroom and walked through the doorway. He entered the hall in a towel and walked acrosst it to his room which took seven steps.

Once in his room Rolly, he went to his wardrobe and picked out his clothes that he would wear to Sugizio's house. He lied out his best black pants that were pressed into submission by a hot iron and a crisp white shirt. He added a new jacket that he had bought because all the kids were wearing them these days. When he was satisfied with their matching capabilities he applied the clothing to his body in a way that he was wearing them. He looked in his full-length mirror and nodded when he saw he looked as good as a Rolly could look.

He moved his feet over to his vanity which wasn't very far because his room was tiny. He sat in front of it. He stared into his medium-sized but humble mirror and took a good look at himself. His wide eyes stared back at him through square framing glasses. His eyesight wasn't very bad, but he felt a need to wear glasses because he was unpopular and that's what unpopular students wore to distinguish themself from the well-liked school-goers. His eyebrows were naturally thin and curved above his glasses, black against his yellow skin. He smiled and his straight and almost non existant lips curved upwards in a frightening smile underneath his straight pinched nose. His now dry hair lay atop his head, black as an exploded ink bottle. He combed it in the regular bissness man like way and nodded. As he looked into the meer he applied some foundation so that his skin would be a nice even yellow for Sugizio.

He was excited to see Sugizio and his home, but he was nervous about what he was going to learn or if he'd be able to learn. Sugizio was frightening and sometimes unfriendly but Rolly couldn't help feeling that there was kindness in Sugizio's heart, even if he was quick to criticize and maim. Rolly smiled to himself and pushed his glasses up, standing in his room. It was almost time to leave, but he walked over to the small aquarium near his bed and looked in.

"Ah, looks like you're out of food, Benjamin," Rolly said, noting the empty dish. He got some rice pellets and dropped them into the dish. "Your a good boy," he smiled, petting his pet rock. Benjamin was silent but seemed to enjoy the attention from Rolly. Rolly felt comforted by his pet, and put in a special rice cake as a treat for Benjamin. He gave him a final pat on the head before he closed the small aquarium, making sure to close it fully so Benjamin wouldn't escape and wander around Rolly's room and possibly hurt himself.

Rolly took a lasting look into the mirror before he headed out of his room, walking. He got to the kitchen and told his mother he was going out for the day and she merely said nothing while he applied his shoes to his feet. He finished velcroing his shoes and left the house through the doorway. He jumped onto his bike and looked at Sugizio's busniess card before heading off in the direction that the card suggestion Sugizio's location was resident.

It was a bright sunny day and Rolly noted this as he pedated his way toward his goal. A soft breeze blew through his black hair and he closed his eyes to enjoy it. He sped downhill through a red light, smiling as the wind tickled his cheeks. He came to a flat area and cruised along the streets. He saw a dog biting a homeless man's hand and smiled. The hobo yelled out in anguishing pain, and Rolly rung his bell joyously as he passed. As he pedaled down the freeway, Rolly saw a business man stripping for change on the overpass above. He could hear an empty techono beat rattle down to him, and a shirt the man had discarded fluttered down onto the speeding traffic lanes below. Rolly swerved to avoid it, causing a car to swerve to avoid Rolly and crash into the side barrier.

Rolly wondered at the time and looked down at his watch, causing his bike to wobble back and forth. He swerved in front of a bus and saw that it was 1:56pm. He had for minutes to get to Sugizio's house or he'd be late and Sugizio might not let him in at all. He pedaled harder, causing him to breathe more actively and move from the buses trajectory driving destiniation.

The wind was no longer tickling his face but biting it, and as his feet circled the bike's parts furiously, his pink and purple streamers glittering violently in the current of air from the clouds. He nearly crashed into a soba cart, but instead zoomed past it with agility, catching a brief sniff of Japanese Food. He thought of Benjamin and decided he'd buy him a treat on the way home. Benjamin was a picky eater, though. Rolly knew not to give him carrots or celary because they gave him awful stomachaches and sometimes gave him diareah. He knew chocolate wasn't good for him, too, so he settled on dried fish biscuits, knowing that those were his favorite. Rolly nodded against the gale current and took a sharp turn down an alley. He slowed now that he was in a residential area and near his destinaytion. He looked again at the card he'd so fondly slipped into his chest pocket. 74 Spanko Alwy. He looked up and saw Homo-sin Lane and saw that Spanko Alleyway was perpendickilar to it. He bicycled down to it and looked at the numbers. 68...245...90...15...5634....ah, 74! 74 Spanko Alwy rested at the end of the Lane. There were small and humble houses along the lane, but number 74 was a grand spectacle. There was a large gate in an imposing stone wall. Rolly admired the traditional architeckshure. He could see the tops of some Japanese Tries over the top of the wall. He approached the gating figure slowly, dismounting his bike and walking it to the entrance.

He looked up at it, uncertain as to if he should knock himself upon it or shout over the top, "Hello, I'm at the gate!!" But before he could embarrass himself either way, the gate opened suddenly with ease and dileberation. Rolly looked around to see what had caused this sudden strain on the hinges and saw a prose butler standing straight ahead.

"Sir Rolly, I conjecture?" the butler postulated, looking at Rolly with his eyes.

"Ah...Ah, hai! Rolly desu," Rolly spat out nervously.

"Yes, yes. Come along," said the buttler, waving Rolly inside. Once inside Rolly saw the bottoms of the trees he had seen the top of. But that was not all he saw. He was astounded to see a great lot of peroperty, which had been artfully landscaped. There was a zen garden in the corner and a path of sand and stone around it. A small pond made trickling noises which reached Rolly's sculpted ears. The grounds were filled with beautiful Japanese trees and trained cicadas could be heard singing their winter song. Rolly stood in awe at the sights, but it was nothing to see this then see the estate which stood before Rolly. He looked to it and saw it was an amazingly traditional Japanese Seigneury. From the tiled roof too the Japanese Style it was Japanese to a tea. He jolted from his admiration as the butler renched his bike from Rolly's stark fingers, sliding it into a bike holder beside the entrance.

The butler directed Rolly inside the house, where he entered. The house was even more splendoured inside. Paintings and plants were littered about the room with taste and conneisance. As Rolly walked in admiration, the butler guided him to a small room with a table and tea set out. He was told to sit by it and he did. The butler told him that Sugizio would be with him shortly and that he was to wait patiently for him. He did this and sat, waiting for Sugizio to be with him.

Yoshiki's Picnic - 18

Part eighteen - Carpet Carnage

As Mana ran around the park in agony, Sugizio pulled another cigarette from his pocket and began to smoke coolly. He turned to the picnic and walked back toward it, stepping on miyavi as he made his way there.

Because everyone had thought Mana was a bit of a pain, no one seemed particularly upset that he had lost both his arms. They were a little surprised that Sugizio would do such a thing, but they didn't let it bother them, and simply went on with their picnic. The only one who seemed marginally upset was the one famous for his glittering bodysuits and bleached hair. He was not upset about Mana, and he wondered who actually would be worried about that guy. With no one coming to mind, he thought instead of what he was upset about. Sugizio was clearly bored and Rolly knew it wouldn't be long before he picked a different j-rocker to dismember. Perhaps someone who was likeable this time, which meant trouble.

Rolly looked around the circle at each of the people present. Though Rolly knew Issay would be a good victim for Sugizio as no one really knew who he was or cared about him, but Rolly did not wish him dead because he had yet to serve his ultimate purpose. The same could be said for the rest of the j-rockers, and Rolly decided that it would not be a good idea to let Sugizio pick off anyone else. Not even that stupid member of that one band, since he was useful for saying foolish things and...well, that was about all, really.

Rolly watched as Sugizio sat down where Sugizo had been sitting before he'd run off to get help. Sugizio sat gracefully and made himself comfortable in the picnic folds. He looked around with a cool gaze, before his eyes fell to the very blanket he sat upon. What he saw made him flinch with anger. The blanket was rather old and was made of a durable cotton fiber that had been dyed and woven into an abstract pattern consisting of shades of pinks, greens, and yellows. This particular blanket had come from Gackt's home, where he'd been keeping it in a closet for several years, only pulling it out for occasions such as these. It was somewhat soft, but seemed the kind of blanket that always felt rather dirty, and that would always seem to smell of an unpleasant mysterious odor. If Sugizio hadn't been so angry at what he saw on the blanket, he may have searched the edges of the blanket for a tag of some sort. The tag sat near the top left corner of the blanket, which was a tad frayed simply from old age and being stored in a cold damp closet. The fibers which had been woven so closely had lost their tight grip on each other and had begun to pull loose, giving the blanket an aged look. On the tag that was sewed with machine-like care into the blanket's edge, it was stated that this elderly blanket had been constructed in China. It had most likely been assembled by tired Chinese workers in a dreary factory. Though it rarely rained in China, the day this blanket was woven together was almost certainly cloudy and dreary. It was hard to imagine that this blanket had ever seen sunny, beautiful weather, but that was not the case, as the day of the picnic happened to be a fine summer's day and the sun shone brightly and warmly onto the worn woven cloth, despite its raggedy appearance. Even though it looked as if it had come out of the 80s, it was in fact, much older than that. Gackt had received it from his mother as a gift on the occasion of his first concert. His mother had told him that it was a very special blanket, and that he should take very good care of it. Gackt had been young and foolish, perhaps even more so than he was now, and had ignored his mother's advice, shoving the dull blanket into a closet and forgetting about it. What Gackt did not know was that this blanket wasn't simply a blanket, but it was a magic carpet that would fly whoever used it wherever they wished to go. The magic carpet would only fly for those who knew of it however, so his mother had been rather rude when she had forgotten to mention this to Gackt, before dying of epilepsy a few years later. Therefore it would seem that despite this blanket's most extraordinary capability, it was doomed to be just a regular blanket for eternity, soon to be tossed out with the trash because of that peculiar odor it always carried.

Sugizio picked up the chain of flowers that sat upon the faded blanket and growled loudly. "What the hell is this?!" He snarled, shaking the flowered jewelry around so that petals flew in every direction.

"Oh, that's a chain that Sugizo pieced together! I saw him working on it earlier. Where'd he go, anyway..." Yoshiki hummed.

"Sugizo? Who is this asshole?! Why would he make such a stupid thing as this?!" Sugizio said, confrontationally.

"Eeeeh? Sugizo-san loves nature! He's so very close to the Earth, it touches all our hearts. Isn't that right, minna?" Yoshiki said, a soft smile growing over his face.

"Ee. Hai, hai! Sugizo-san sugoi da ne desu," the j-rockers mumbled among themselves.

"Waarrgghh!!" Sugizio screamed. "I hate nature, god damn it!" At that, he ripped the chain apart. Stems and petals broke from each other, and the green lifeblood of the flowered plants flowed like a river of salty water over the ground made of small stones and riverbed rocks. As he tore them stem from stem, the bits of the herbage seemed to flutter to the ground in a slowed motion. It was as though time felt the pain of the small, leaved greenery and was forced to falter as it suffered the agony of it all, slowly vomiting out the sequence of being in a retarded motion. The scent of gore and floral carnage drifted into the noses of the j-rockers, turning their united stomach and making them gag. The sight of the massacre before them made their brains hurl against the walls of their skulls, as though screaming for justice, crying out for an end to all this pain and suffering that they were currently experiencing at the sight of this slaughter.

"Jesus!" Yoshiki screamed. "What have you done?! How could you do such a thing," he gurgled, walking on his knees over to the massacre. He threw himself at the butchery, picking up the discarded petals and leaves and sobbing into their marred flesh. "Nooo! Why... Why did this have to happen?! You monster! You've dismembered them. How...how could you." Yoshiki shuddered with the pain of this gruesome bloodbath and the tears flowed generously from his eyes, onto the spilt blood of the slain.

Sugizio simply watched this with a raised eyebrow, ripping the remaining flowers to bits and sprinkling them into Yoshiki's hair. He looked around at the troupe, and could see the eyes of the j-rockers glittering with tears, except for Hyde's, who was still wearing his fashionable sunglasses, but he too was surely moved by the scene, and his beautiful eyes would have glittered and shone with the clearest crystal tears there ever were.

As Yoshiki sobbed dramatically, Mana ran by the picnickers, screaming and sobbing also, but for a somewhat different, yet less moving, reason. Sugizio seemed satisfied to see the nature before him destroyed beyond recognition. He rustled around in a nearby picnic basket to find a small portable hand-vacuum. While Yoshiki continued to sob, Sugizio sucked the bits and pieces of the exterminated flora, also running the vacuum over Yoshiki's head, no doubt sucking up some hair and skin cells along with the butchered greenery. When he was finished, he quietly turned off the power and discarded the vacuum, throwing it toward the street, where it hit an elderly woman stepping onto a bus in the back of the head. He now felt content to go back to his seat, and kicked the sobbing Yoshiki back to his original blanket before relaxedly setting himself down on the carpet. He helped himself to the basket's supply of staple and ate quietly as the other wiped their tears and tried to move on with their shattered lives.

Yoshiki's Picnic - 12

Part twelve - Shout to the Heavens

Rolly looked from the bus to Yoshiki and from Yoshiki to the bus. He looked back and forth between the two as the bus careened speedily towards Yoshiki, ready to smash Yoshiki's feeble body to bits and pieces of mere flesh. Rolly became rather anxious.

"STOP FUCKING AROUND BUS!" He screamed in anguish. But the bus did not stop fucking around nor did it even slow down. It only maintained its current velocity right toward Yoshiki. This angered Rolly. He was so fed up with bus drivers and their out-of-controll buses that he just couldn't take it any more. He was absolutely irate and raging inside and he bent himself back and screamed to the sky. Then he ripped at his body suit and ripped the chest open wider. Yoshiki did not have a chance to see just how far Rolly might have ripped his body suit open as he was staring at the bus in fear.

Several versions were told of how far Rolly ripped his bodysuit. Some say all the way past the crotch, others say to right above it. Some said Rolly wore no underwear at all others said spotted briefs. No one really knows for sure as there was not much time to examine just what the sequenced bodysuit had chosen to reveal through its rip.

Rolly screamed and jumped in front of Yoshiki. "YOU'LL NOT RAPE YOSHIKI'S LIFE A WAY TO DAY BUS! YOU WILL BE THE ONE WHO IS RAPED." He absolutely screamed at the top of his lungs. Then he jumped. But he did not just jump. He super jumped and flew at least five feet into the air and spun around. The bus was gaining on Yoshiki now and Yoshiki feared for the only life he had. His own.

But Rolly wasn't prepared to let the bus take that from Yoshiki. He landed back on the ground after his display and kneeled on one knee, then looked up into the buses winshield, smirking. "COME ON BUS. I'M GONNA FUCK YOU UP." He said grinning now. However, the bus was not intimidated by Rolly's display of animosity and continued streaking toward the two Japanese.

The bus, now only twenty feet away, flashed its headlights in warning and the two noticed it but did not heed it.

"It's warning us, Rolly!" Yoshiki cried.

"Ignore it, Yoshiki-chan." Said Rolly, forcefully, turning around and putting his arms on Yoshiki's shoulders. "I've never told you this before but I really like you, ne, Yo-chan. You always have a smile on your face even if it is a mean one and I really admire that in a person. I'm not sure if I am by sexual or what but I really like your smell and the look of you and I wish some day to also know what you taste of. Ne, Yo-kun? Iie, it is not just a wish, it is a want. A will, even. I want to know you, koibito. In ways no one has ever known you. I want to be able to run with you through a field as we strip off our clothes. I want to know every inch and centimeter of you. And also, your beautiful soul."

"Ro...Rolly-kun! I don't kno--"
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! HONK! HONK HONK!! BEEEEEP!! The bus screamed at the two. Rolly spun his head around and looked over his shoulders at the crazed bus. If this had all been a movie, the camera would have zoomed straight into Rolly to show his eyes because they were so fierce. But this was not a movie, it was reality. This was so real no movie could recreate it. And despite how savagely aggressive his eyes were, the bus did not swerve, running into the fence. No, it only hastened in its approach of the two performers.

"Oh, Jesus Rolly, be on the qui vive for that bus!" Issay screamed to his companion. Rolly needed no further instructions and whirled around to face the demented bus. The bus was about to hit them now, but Rolly had something to say about that. He began to run for the bus instead and jumped right before they met and shot his foot out. He kicked the bus with such grace, smacking his glittering platform shoe into the buses' head with such incredible power that it flew up into the air and rolled over and over in the sky. The people on the bus went round and round, round and round, round and round, until it crashed to the ground exploding in a pile of flames. The bus passengers tried to break out of the windows, but this particular crazed bus was armed with shatter-proof glass, and the passengers found themselves to be burning alive. The bus driver screamed with rage and threw his cap out the window as the bus blew up into a billion pieces of burning hot metal and bone.

Rolly was thrown from the impact, then landing in the park grass and sliding several feet through the dirt into the park fence with his head. He just lied there for several moments as Yoshiki ran over to him after retying his shoelaces.

"Ohmigawsh, Rolly!!! Are you okay??" He squealed, Rolling rolly over. Rolly groaned and rubbed his head. "Kyaaa, what happened. Rolly-kun's head really hurts. ): " he exclaimed, laughing like a goon. Rolly rolled over and over then jumped to his feet.

"Ah, about what you said earlier to me, Rolly..." Yoshiki started to say. "Huh?? Nani? When did Rolly-chan say something, Yoshiki-samaaaaa!!" Rolly shouted, his eyes beginning to water. Yoshiki's eyes widened as he looked at Rolly. Oh my goodness, he thought, I wonder if he lost his memory do too a temporal lobe trauma fracture. If that fence caused a cuncussion on him he could have lost his memories of what happened just now. Oh, that is really terrible.

Rolly was running around the park doing cartwheels now and shaking his bottom about. That Rolly, Yoshiki laughed to himself. Sometimes I think he is a little like Gackt. Maybe I could learn to love him some day after all.

"Ewww, Yoshiki-sama, why are you looking at Rolly-chan like that. You're making him feel that you're a gay or a by sexual. ): Kowai! Don't make Rolly-chan so uncomfortable like that!!" Rolly cried and wriggled with discomfort, rolling back and forth on his heels energetically and thrusting his arms behind him. He then turned and ran off to the picnic with the others, throwing his arms and legs everywhere and doing the occasional cartwheel. He tripped several times but picked himself back up immediately, skipping onward.

Yoshiki sighed and also began to walk back to the picnic. He didn't stop and sit down until he had reached the group and accepted a cup of apple-crazeberry juice from Közi, sipping it quietly. His thoughts drifted back to hide and he contemplated how much he hated this world and his own life. Why do I even bother. What point is there any more. . . . .

Yoshiki's Picnic - 11

Part eleven - Promise of Life

"Wha-what??" Yoshiki widened his eyes to at least an inch, pointing them at Rolly so that he could look at him with shock. He looked at him with shock. "Do what!? Rolly, you don't mean..."

"Damn it, I mean lets do it!" Rolly grabbed my shoulders and shook them leaving me slightly dizzy. He continued to shake me, causing the breath in my lungs to spurt out of me in gasps. "Rolly! Rolly! You're making me gasp." Yoshiki cried. "I'm sorry Yoshiki-kun. I did not mean to harm you." Rolly said, ceasing his violent shaking of Yoshiki. "Please don't cry because of me I was only excited." Yoshiki coughed a little and sighed. "It is ok. Every one knows that you are excitable any way." Rolly smiled a little and removed his hands from Yoshiki. "Just...forget it. What I said."

But before Yoshiki could reply in any way shape or form to Rolly, there was a loud noise. Yoshiki jumped and squealed loudly in shock as a giant red bus exploded through the sturdy Tokyo fencing crafted by hard-working Japanese soldiers during World War II.

"Dear God!! Holy fuck!" Rolly cried as the bus hurtled through the park, not stopping as it ran a group of park-goers over, sending them flying through the air into the streets of Tokyo where they were once again run over by the busy Tokyo morning traffic. Dirt and grass could be seen flying into the air behind the out-of-control eight-wheeled bus as it ripped through the parklands.

"OH MY GOD NO WATCH OUT" Rolly bellowed as the bus zigged and zagged through the park. It then swerved and began heading straight for Rolly and Yoshiki before screeching to a dramatic and impulsive halt! It revved its engine and Yoshiki turned to the bus and stared it down. His vision was like a camera and it zoomed into the front of the bus dramatically. Thoughts and feelings rushed through his brain at the speed of light as the bus continued to rev its engine threateningly.

The bus jumped into motion, speeding straight for the j-rocker and Rolly. "OH NO HELP US THERE IS A CRAZY BUS IN HERE!! GOD NO. NO, NOT A BUS!! NO WE SHOULD RUN," hollered Rolly as the bus sped toward them. He screamed when the bus did not stop, despite the musicians clearly standing before it. Then Yoshiki jumped to the left and the bus adjusted its angle so that it was aiming for him. He threw his arms out in waiting for the bus and was ready to die.

He thought of hide. This is what hide would want, Yoshiki's mind screamed. THIS IS IT. My time for reckoning has come and I am ready for it. I was born ready for this the day hide died. I am ready bus you can take me a way from this pain I always feel. Like when I was five and this all started when mommy told me that daddy had gone away. Yoshiki wrapped his arms around his body and hugged himself, making it look like he was making out with someone from behind. He'd run to his father after work in the child mill where they'd made buttons and soap out of peculiar hard white sticks that Yoshiki thought looked familiar but never really knew what it was, to find his father standing beside his bed, facing away from Yoshiki. He was exstatic and wanted to tell Daddy all about his day at the factory and how the soap had come out particularly well today. He ran over to his daddy and pulled on his arm, ready to tell him about his exciting day. To his horror, after pulling on his only father's arm, the appendage ripped out of its socket and fell onto Yoshiki. He screamed and tried to push the arm off of him, but his feeble five year old constitution couldn't muster the strength to roll it off of him. He'd sobbed and sobbed as the arm bled onto his little boyshorts and sailor hat which had fallen off with the arm. But it was seventeen hours before his mom got home from the streets to find him and the arm and his dead father (the only one he had). At the funeral she had seemed deranged and slightly crazy. After the priest had blessed his father's corpse his mothered started whooping and guffawing, later urinating on his father's coffin. Later that day he promised his mother he would never make her go through that pain again and that he wouldn't die. She'd laughed and thrown a bottle of whiskey at him.

Wait, that's right. I told her I wouldn't die! He bellowed to his mind. Even if she doesn't care. Even if no one cares! I...I want to....I WANT TO LIVE!

But it was too late. The bus was nearly half a mile away and there was just no time for Yoshiki to jump out of the way or save himself. He was going to die. Now. When he'd finally decided it was time to live his life. For him. For himself. For Yoshiki. And there was nothing he could do. He sniffed and pulled a tissue out of his pocket and blew his nose, accepting his oh so cruel fate.

Yoshiki's Picnic - 10

Part ten - Of Reotards and Fences

Gackt really is the life of every party Yoshiki thought to himself. He stared at Gackt as Gackt did more sommersalts in the air and did the splits a few times. He's so graceful, and he really is very beautiful. Gackt was adorned in clothes appropriate for the warm spring weather. His long leather pants covered his legs entirely and accentuated his manly curves. He wore simple boots to accent the silver leather and wore a leotard under his pants. Gackt had always said he liked leotards because there were so many ways to customize them. Today he wore one with long sleeves and ruffled cuffs. Instead of his usual plain-color leotard, this one bore a large picture of hyde's face on it. It was extremely stylish and Yoshiki looked down at his own clothes regretfully. You just had to make it a boring day, didn't you. GOSH you are so pathetic it hurts sometimes. You are nothing without hide. It should have been you that died, not hide. I HATE YOOUUUU. But he was dead now, and Yoshiki was only dead inside. What others looked up on and saw as a human being, full of life and feelings was only an empty shell of alien intelligence and thoughts. Yoshiki just didn't know anything anymore. He sighed.

Hyde's face on Gackt's chest reminded Yoshiki of Hyde, which led him to thinking about Gackt and the kind of relationship they had.

Do I like him more than a friend? I'm insane. It's only been seven years since hide died. I can't start thinking about someone else just like that. That would be so wrong of me and it would hurt hide so much. But even so, with Gackt? Everyone likes Gackt he's so full of life and has such presence. Yoshiki mumbled to himself.

From the radio someone had brought with them Oasis now began to play. The sound of the cheesy and trashy song filled Yoshiki's eardrums. The noises invaded his brain and made him feel uncontrollable anger and disgust. His brain was dripping with irritation and he dug his nails into his legs. He sprang to his feet and declared he was going to go for a walk around the park.

Some looked up, most didn't bother, but Rolly looked up and said he would accompany him on the walk around the park. Yoshiki said that it was okay, rather wishing he could be alone, but Rolly rolled onto his platforms and walked off pulling, Yoshiki by the arm so that Yoshiki had no choice but to go with Rolly.

And so they began to walk around the park. Yoshiki had been planning to look around for nearby buses so he was rather miffed that Rolly had forced himself on Yoshiki. He hated when he was made to do things against his will and this rape of his privacy was no different from the usual rape that occurred in his daily life. Just because he had lost the love of his life it was no excuse for his friends to come along and rape him one by one. As Yoshiki thought back to all the times he had had something raped from him, Rolly cleared his throat and looked at Yoshiki.

Yoshiki looked over at Rolly and Rolly looked back at him again. They exchanged looks for a few moments, continuing to stare into each others eyes, looking. As they looked they could see each other and so they kept observing each other, not letting a tweet from a bird stop them in their peeping at each other as the other viewed the other back. Yoshiki wondered why Rolly was looking at him and Rolly pondered why Yoshiki was staring at him. They stopped and stared for a while.

Rolly leaned back and half-sat on the fence that made up the perimeter of the park because even though it was a public park open to most anyone though transients were strictly discouraged but that didn't stop them from being around and entering the park where they would look through the rubbish bins seeking a few cents in recyclable material or perhaps their next meal fences looked nice in a park and so they had installed one because it was one of the nicest parks in Tokyo the international city of the world. Nice parks were supposed to have fences. They just were. And so this one did, and it added a certain special charm and refinement to the park so it could be said that it was doing its job because Tokyo wanted to impress the visitors of its park because some people said that a park was a look into a city's cleanliness and so Tokyo was proud of its park and kept it very clean. Last year they had celebrated because the crime rate had been at an all time low and they hoped it would be this year aswell. Though a good record is hard to beat.

He pulled a cigarette out of his marvelously glittering jumpsuit and threw it at Yoshiki's head, who then picked it off the ground and put it in his mouth whereas Rolly then lit it for him. They began to stare at each other silently, Rolly breathing very loudly and audibly.

Yoshiki was confused because Rolly was acting strangely. The usually irritating and loud has-been had been quiet for over thirty seconds and it made Yoshiki feel uneasy. He looked at Rolly, secretly trying to punch a whole in his skull with his eyes, so that he could see what Rolly was thinking. He attempted this for a few minutes, finally giving up when Rolly's skull refused to cave in from the power of Yoshiki's mind and eyes.

The leaning Rolly looked around the park, finally settling his eyes on a moshpit of fighting cats that was directly to his left. He quietly observed the felines and Yoshiki took this opportunity to scan him. Rolly's hair had fallen into his face lending him an aura of allure. So Rolly CAN be attractive, thought Yoshiki, browsing his blonde hair. It looked like it had been a while since Rolly had washed it, and it had been dyed so many times that it looked painful and brittle. He admired Rolly's gaunt face and found it comforting to look upon, gazing on his strange nose and eyes that looked rounder than they should be due to an excess of makeup. He blushed when Rolly turned away from the cat moshpit, catching him in his ogling. Rolly stared at Yoshiki for a few minutes then said something with little emotion.

"Wanna do it?"

Yoshiki's Picnic - 03

Part three - A Long Ago Memory

I really wonder when Gackt will get here... Though I really wish HYDE hadn't come. Gackt-san never really looks at me when he's around.. Yoshiki thought to himself.

"Oh, look who has decided to appear," Mana said quietly, narrowing his eyes.

Yoshiki whirled his head around to find Gackt, but found only Közi in his place. His face fell and he grumbled, then spilled his Bacardi onto his pants. Kuso he thought, I spilled Bacardi on my pants last week and it has never come out it. It is a permanent stain that I have on my pants now. This liquor perhaps is not what I thought it should be. It really is as material and fleeting as the rest of us, yet it can be so damaging as well. I wish I had worn my other pants, if I had known I where to spill something on my pants, I probably would have not worn these. I can scrub and scrub when I get home, but I will only think of Hide. I am only a useless human in a world full of animals. His thoughts fell to hide for the many time of that day as he watched the buses and many cars fly by, whizzing and buzzing and various other car noises could be heard. Sometimes I wish I would just end it.

And then he remembered. It was the first time he and hide had been alone together and he knew what he wanted. He believed that hide knew as well and could sense it. Touch me, he was thinking. Touch me, hide. Right here, where it feels so good.

"Ne, Yoshiki-kun! Are you listening to me!?" hide knocked on Yoshiki's skull and laughed. "Sometimes I think you're in a whole other dimention from me. How are we supposed to talk with you spacing off like that?? Are are, you should pay more attention, baka!"

"Gomen, hide-chan!! Ore wa...I was listening! I just got lost in thought for a moment there. Gomen, gomen!" Yoshiki clapped his hands together and waved them about, showing how apologetic he could be. His apologetic nature must have done a number on hide, who smiled and looked at the j-rock superstar fondly. Yoshiki became embarrassed.

"Neeeee, hide! Don't look at me so strongly. Your eyes are boring a hole in my soul and I don't know if I can take it. It's like you're a drill and you know just how fast you have to turn to get me to drive myself into the wall. Sometimes I wonder how you even do it. Sometimes I wonder how I...feel..."

"Oh, Yo-kun." hide whipstered, leaning over closer to Yoshiki and kissing him on his lips suddenly. Yoshiki gasped with surprise and pleasure and returned hide's surprising kiss. His mouth tasted and felt sweet like butter, and Yoshiki wanted to lick up ever greasy bit of it. Yoshiki couldn't believe what he was doing as he embraced hyde with a passionate, loving kiss. He felt happier than he could remember. His thoughts drifted to a professor he'd had in tokyo university where he got his pHD in Pre-Soviet Literature who told him that happiness was rare and wasn't always going to be around so when he found it he should grab it and show it who it belongs to. He smiled and thought of that professor dortlynne. He had given him so much good advice for life and knew he was right about so many things. His life wouldn't be the same anymore. He was going to be happier than he'd ever been and make happiness know whose bitch it was. He leaned back as hide kissed him more probingly and was sliding his hands around over his chest area and near his shoulders.

hide began to kiss around on his neck and Yoshiki thought that was very nice and moaned orally. "That's very nice, Hide," he stuttered through his mouth.

"Yosh...iki." He said between neck-kisses. "I think....I think I...I love you."

Yoshiki gasped and held hide close to his body. He tore at hide's clothes, popping bottons and cracking zippers. Clips, buckles, and bottons were flying everywhere, but Yoshiki didn't care. They're just clothes he screamed in his mind. What are clothes right now? Right now when I have hide so close to me. When he's telling me he loves me! These clothes mean nothing, they are only pathetic strips of cloth that keep me from my beautiful, amazing hide. He was violent now, positively ravenous for Hyde's body. He was now completely naked and Yoshiki stepped back and absorbed hide's beautiful body. His muscles were chiseled and yet he was so trim he could have been bulimarexic. He was beautiful. From the hair on his toes, to the ring in his nose. Totally beautiful.

That night was the most amazing night of Yoshiki's life. He would treasure that for the end of his days. However soon he might throw himself in front of a bus, that night would be with him until the end.

But so would that.

That other part of that memory.

Yoshiki winced. He hated to remember, but he could never forget.

"Mmmm, hide. That was amazing. I've never been so happy in my life," Yoshiki yawned, stretching his arms and looking beside him. But hide wasn't there. He wasn't beside him in bed.

Yoshiki chocked. He tried to force it out of him. Not that. I can't think about that. NO. I WON'T THINK OF THAT. NOT TODAY. Not...today.

Yoshiki's Picnic - 01, 02

Yoshiki's Picnic in the Park

Part one - Walking to the Park

Yoshiki knew he had to get to the park for the picnic soon. He passed a bakery, a flower shop, and a buffet restaurant. He didn't want to be late for the picnic, so he took a left then went straight for a while. After walking a few feet he then took another left, determined to reach the park.

He reached the park. Yoshiki saw his friends he was supposed to meet and ran to them despite his sadness over the death of his lover hide. hide invaded Yoshiki's mind at that time and he felt intense depression. Hammer shooting Yoshiki wanted to turn around and run into a bus that had chipped paint.

Part two - In the Park

"Yoooosh-ki-chan!" I heard someone shout out at me. I looked over to see Sugizo standing and waving his arms about. Yoshiki steered himself from the bus and walked over to Sugizo who was standing next to a sitting group that consisted of közi, miyavi, a glay member, and Sugizo. "Sit down next to us," he said.

Yoshiki sat on a red and pink plaid blanket and made himself comfortable in the linen folds, feeling the grass blades poke up from under the plaid patterns. As he looked into the mind bending pattern he saw hide's face looking up to me and I could see his lips say something. Yoshiki whispered to the blanket, "I miss you hyde."

"Nani, Yo-kun?" Gackt asked me, handing me a full pitcher of Bacardi.

"Aah, mmm. Thanks, Sugi." Sugizo-san looked at me with concertedness, but took my denial as I gave it and pulled some caviar sandwiches out of his picnic basket. He handed them to me. I handed them to the glay member and to miyavi.

"Nee, when are the others getting here?" Yoshiki asked the others.

"They should all be getting her about now. Gackt-san said he might be a bit late because he had to stop off at the pet shop," Miyavi said. He sat with his legs crossed in his lap and was wearing leather pants. Yoshiki looked at the soles of his ankle boots and saw fresh grass ground into the pits of rubber.

Before Yoshiki could take a detailed account of miyavi's upper clothing and accessories the member of Glay stood up and said, "Oh, Mana is here!" with glee. Yoshiki turned behind him and grimaced as his eyes fell onto Mana. So, Prince Mana has arrived at last. That's good, I needed something to whine about. he thought, gritting his teeth.

Mana called over Tetsu, who he'd been leading on a small chain. He snapped his gloved fingers and Tetsu fell to his knees, then to his hands, making a halfway ok bench. Mana nodded and took a seat daintily on Tetsu's back then crossed his legs. He then held his hand out for a caviar sandwich. Yoshiki grumbled inwardly and slapped one into Mana's gloves, secretly trying to smush it so the caviar might squeeze out the sides of the breads.

Yoshiki had a secret feeling of contempt for Mana, but didn't always bother to keep it so secret, so it was not such a secret after all. As Yoshiki contemplated his feelings of hatred for Mana, said J-Rocker was wriggling in irritation as Tetsu had begun to let his back sag. This upset Mana visibly, which people outside of his dungeon room rarely got to witness, so he grabbed Tetsu's leash and pulled on it tightly. The chain became taught because it was being pulled on, and it pulled the collar it was attached to up, putting pressure on its wearer's neck. Tetsu began to choke and gag, spluttering violently. Mana smirked and pulled only tighter. Tetsu's face began to lose color and the other picnickers stared at him curiously, wondering if he would die. Tetsu's eyes stared blankly out into the park, perhaps focusing on some nearby trees, Yoshiki thought. Sugizo poured some OJ for the group into clear plastic cups the Glay member held for him. Yoshiki took a cup from the member and sipped it quietly, noticing a flock of winged birds flying above in the air. He pointed this out to miyavi, who was nearest him, and they admired the birds together, miyavi quietly pointing out their typical bird-like formation.

Mana accepted a cup from Sugizo, then put his leash down, releasing Tetsu from his predicament. Tetsu coughed and wheezed for a while, and the group began to discuss Hyde's new music video.

"Did you see his hair? It's the same as it always is. I wonder if he might change it soon."

"His videos are too bright and homely for me to watch. I'd much rather watch one of my own. At least I put on a little makeup for the camera," Mana stated rather plainly.

Just then, when they were in discussion, the very person they mentioned walked up to them slowly and confidently. "Well, well, looks like I'm not so late it's fashionable."

"Oh, HYDE, you are always fashionable! Sugoi!!" The member of Glay squeaked.

Hyde smiled to himself and nodded quietly. Mana glared at him silently, kicking his bench in the knee. As Sugizo poured another cup, Hyde sat on a separate spotted blanket and sat casually with one leg up and his hand resting on that leg. He put his sunglasses on and sipped the OJ relaxedly, contemplating the day. Yoshiki glanced at him and thought.
